Great British Summer Celebrations

With the children returning to school after the Easter holidays and the weather warming up a touch, we are now looking forward to the busy summer season with lots of weddings, birthdays and anniversaries as well as the annual, early summer events Britain does so well.

The first of these’ institutions’ is the Chelsea Flower Show, world renowned celebration of all things horticultural, visited by royalty, celebrities and gardening fans alike. This is closely followed by shows at Hampton Court and later in the summer at Tatton Park. Our paper lanterns combine very well with the floral theme. Bring fresh flowers, ribbons, pastel paper lanterns and our little lights together for the perfect ceiling decoration inside, in a marquee or strung between trees outside on warm nights.

Paper Lanterns for Formal Events

Formal drinks parties, awards ceremonies and presentations might take their cue from Ascot and Henley. Black and white or blue and white look both smart and chic. For a truly patriotic theme there is nothing quite like red, white and blue. Bring the look together with matching tablecloths, napkins and flower arrangements.

Mid-summer Party Decorations

When we reach the end of June there is nothing quite like a mid-summer party around the time of Wimbledon. Why not chose the traditional Wimbledon colours of green and purple for your paper lantern decorations. They would certainly hit the spot for an SW19 themed venue and if you are lucky with the weather then it is the perfect time of year to hold it outdoors.
