When is the last date for delivery before Christmas?

Delivery before XMAS cannot be guaranteed for orders taken after the 18th December.


: After the 31st of December 2020, all parcels sent outside of the UK are subject to customs/VAT charges.

Customs charges are determined when the parcel arrives, therefore it’s impossible for us to determine whether you’ll be charged and by how much in advance. 

: The price you pay does not include customs/VAT charges.

The decision is made by the relevant authorities in the delivery country who will contact the recipient if there are any charges to be paid. 

: There is a risk that the parcel will be abandoned or returned to the sender.  These actions may not be free of charge and as each country has different rules we cannot give any specifics.  

Paper Lanterns UK cannot be held responsible for any charges that customs/VAT enforce on a parcel.

: The courier will attempt to clear your parcel as quickly as possible through customs; however, there are occasions where customs in the delivery country shall require additional information to assist in the clearing of the goods.

Generally, customs will contact the recipient directly and for this reason, we request for you to ensure that you include all up-to-date and correct contact details for the receiver during the booking process..

: If you order before 13.00hrs Monday to Thursday and 12.30 hrs Friday (Excluding Bank Holidays) you can use our Next Day delivery service. Please note we cannot deliver on Saturday and Sunday for Next Day deliveries.UK ONLY.

: Our normal delivery service typically takes 3- 5 working days to reach you and is provided by Royal Mail & Parcelforce.UK ONLY.

: In certain circumstances we reserve the right to utilise the services of other carriers.
